This piece was featured in my second exhibition at The Antiquarium in Houston. For this exhibition, I wanted to encourage viewers to see framing not simply as protection for artwork, but as an extension of the artwork itself.
A dark wooden frame to bring out the craftsmanship and history of the charming timber-lined buildings and the wooden bridges in Lucerne’s old town and a beautiful blue mat to add a bit of depth. The dark brown and blue colors combined add to the nostalgic and traditional feel that comes from this photograph.
